London Calling
One of the worst things they ever did in England was get rid of the old red phone boxes *g*
Now the red boxes are back and you too can have one ;)

They might have been more aesthetically pleasing but did you ever try to open the door on one of those things? They weighed a ton! I didn't get to use a public phone until I was about 11 because I wasn't strong enough to open the door :o They also got very damp and fusty inside (even if people didn't pee in them!) and smelled funny.
